Vincent Federici and Gavin McKenzie
In 2005, I founded McKenzie as a design-build company specializing in residential projects across South Florida. My vision was simple: to build a family of craftsmen and women who enjoy the art of creating beauty, infuse passion into the science of construction, and bring innovation and sustainability to the building process. Now, nearly two decades later, McKenzie has grown into a collective of talented professionals united by shared values that help set us apart in the industry. Our journey of growth has been an incredible blessing. Today, we step into the next exciting chapter of our story.
I am proud to announce Vincent Federici as McKenzie’s new CEO. For the past decade, Vincent has contributed significantly to our company’s mission as Director of Craft, consistently showcasing his leadership and dedication to our team. His integrity, vision, and unwavering desire for excellence demonstrate his ability to lead us into the future. McKenzie has always thrived with a hands-on approach, taking on complex and challenging projects that others often shy away from. Under Vincent’s guidance, that philosophy has only strengthened. I look forward to working alongside him and our stellar team to ensure the company continues to grow and evolve, while staying true to our core values.
As for myself, I will continue to focus on forward-facing strategy and innovation for the company, dedicating more of my energy to advancing our mission beyond managing day-to-day operations. Throughout McKenzie's growth, I've had the opportunity to work with countless talented individuals who share our core values, and I look forward to continuing that collaboration. It has been a privilege to watch this company expand over the past 20 years and I am eager to continue nurturing the relationships we’ve built and our impact in the South Florida community.
